2007 to 2009: Journalist for the Arizona Informant, African-American owned newspaper
2008 to 2010: Devotions and children’s short stories published online.
2018 to present: Compiling short stories from United States slave narratives.

Textile Art:

2020: George Bush Library and Museum. “Art Past and Present from a Black Artist’s Perspective.”  Seven original works exhibited.
2020 September 13-20: Tyler Museum of Art. “Art of Peace Exhibit: Creating Community.” Two original works exhibited: “Betsey Stockton” and “Spring Outing.”
2019 to present: Creating new textile panels to accompany the short story compilation.

Speaking:

2021 scheduled engagements: Kaufman County and Ellis County Quilt Guilds. Rescheduled from 2020 due to COVID-19.
